If you’ve been following my journey, you know I’ve been deep in the trenches of histamine intolerance, MCAS, and gut-skin dysbiosis. While diet, supplementation, and nervous system regulation have been game-changers, I’m always looking for additional tools to help stabilize mast cells, reduce inflammation, and support my body’s ability to heal. When it comes to histamine intolerance, MCAS, and gut-skin health, supporting the endocannabinoid system (ECS) is key 🔑
I’m currently experimenting with full-spectrum CBG and CBD to see how they may help regulate mast cells, reduce inflammation, and improve gut function.
🔹 CBG (Cannabigerol) is often called the “mother cannabinoid” because it’s a precursor to other cannabinoids. It’s shown potential in supporting gut motility, reducing gut inflammation, and promoting microbial balance, making it a promising tool for those with histamine-related digestive issues.
🔹 CBD (Cannabidiol) is widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects. It interacts with the gut-brain axis, helping to calm the nervous system, regulate immune responses, and potentially stabilize mast cells.
The key? Choosing a clean, full-spectrum product that’s free of unnecessary additives and THC exposure concerns. Many brands sneak in fillers or low-quality extracts that can do more harm than good.
I’ll be sharing my experience as I test these out—if you’ve tried CBG or CBD for gut or histamine health, let’s chat in the comments! ⬇️
